Everyone has to face the loss of a parent at some point. But when that loss happens to a child, the consequences can be especially devastating.  Such children often carry scars into adulthood that can impact their relationships, careers, health, and happiness.

There are more than 2 million children and teens in the US grieving the deaths of their moms or dads. 1 in 20 children experience the death of a parent before the age of 16 – that’s 1 in every classroom, 2 on every school bus.

These kids are at a much greater risk for psychological and behavioral problems. They are more likely to struggle with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction or incarceration than kids who haven’t experience such trauma.

The Family Lives On Tradition Program is the only program of its kind. While there are other grief interventions and support programs, no other is as consistent throughout a child’s life.

With your donation we can help these children and their families thrive and beat the statistics creating a measurable impact on society as a whole.

We are national in scope – serving families anywhere in the US.

Our vision is that, someday, the practice of keeping traditions alive after the death of a parent will become mainstream.
